Zip Into High Quality Sportswear With The Real McCoy’s Full Zip Sweat Parka

Perhaps there’s no such thing as the perfect hoodie, but I’ll tell you what, The Real Mccoy’s MC18115 Full Zip Parka gets painfully close.

Cut from a hefty 12 oz. cotton, the hoodie has been woven in Japan on old-school loopwheel knitting machines creating a dense, more robust fabric – with no side seams – capable of withstanding some pretty wintery temperatures. If it’s pretty mild year ’round in your area (looking at you, L.A.) then unzip this beauty and the breeze.

One of McCoy’s’ heaviest sportswear pieces, this zip-up features raglan sleeves, a drawstring hood, a custom ‘McCoy’ zipper, a boxy fit, and two front scoop pockets. Let’s touch quickly on the pocket choice for a sec. I, for one, am stoked that McCoy’s chose individual scoop pockets over a split kangaroo pocket. This might be considered controversial, but I think the kangaroo pocket is one of, if not the most useless pocket of all pockets. There, I said it. Other than warming your hands, which it’s suboptimal for at best, there’s no chance you’re holding anything in it. The amount of wireless earbuds I’ve lost by placing my trust in a kangaroo pocket is beyond embarrassing. Scoop pockets on the other hand, well, while not comparable to the likes of chore coat pockets in terms of usefulness, are definitely my go-to on sportswear.

Whether you’re a minimalist on the hunt for that one hoodie for all occasions or an absolute sweater-head seeking out your next purchase, The Real McCoy’s MC18115 12 oz. Full Zip Parka is calling your name.
