If you’re not familiar with Paraboot, they’ve been making high-quality leather footwear with personality, in France, for generations. All of their products hold up, can be re-soled, and can be enjoyed to infinity and beyond whilst pairing with all manner of clothing from heritage wear to contemporary streetwear.
For the totally underrated hiking boot style fans, we’ve got the Avioraz BBR Lisse Noir model and the Yosemite Velour Brandy/Beige boots, perfect for hitting the hills of your favorite trail or your favorite cityscape. These two boots perform the same function, but they contrast in color (that two-toned Yosemite boot is one of the coolest hiking boot colorways we’ve seen for a while), so you can pick the flavor you need to suit your wardrobe. Standout details include metal fastening rings, ski hooks, and colorful contrasting cord lacing.
For those who want something simple and straightforward, but still standout in their collection of leather shoes – the Avignon Velour Whiskey shoe. These sophisticated whiskey-toned suede shoes are perfect for elevating almost every fit you can throw at them. I can see it now, wide-leg chinos or new raws, button-up, sweater, and voila – effortless style. The Avignon is detailed with contrasting laces, leather lining, and a rubber sole.
Last but not least of our picks, the Michael Poils Vache shoe, because hair-on cowhide Mocs are guaranteed the most fun shoe you may ever own. They might be a statement piece, but they’re still leather shoes, and these work extremely well with your most casual looks. Once these things go through a bit of rain and daily wear, the hair chills out, and they look a bit more low-key — they don’t stay fluffy af forever. These hairy boys are finished with brown laces, piped seams on the toe, leather lining, and a rubber sole.
