Human Made Heart Logo Pile Sock Review

This piece is a part of our Great White Sock Review, which runs down all the different white cotton socks we could get our hands on.

When it comes to clarity of vision, Human Made really excels. Their moniker of “clothes for future teenagers” comes through even in their socks, with a polished retro-futuristic version of an athletic sock that nails every detail.

Fit

It’s not hard to slip into the pair of Human Mades, but when you do it’s like they’re in a foot mold. They’re snug and secure with a slightly tight but not constrictive feel across the midfoot. They don’t melt away like some of the other successful fits, but they rater feel solid and supportive while you’re wearing them.

Fabric

The cotton/acrylic blend gives these socks some heft without making them feel bulky. The knit is also incredibly fine, so they’re smooth and plush without leaving any foot indentations.

Construction

A+. The tolerances on this pair are extremely tight, all the way down to the embroidered logos with mirrored accents on each sock. The ribbing doesn’t even have any twist in it.

Conclusion

These feel like the socks that Marty McFly would’ve been given with his power lace Nikes in Back to the Future 2. They’re clean, classic, and feel like a refined nostalgia for the era we currently exist in. Even though I think the Lady White is a better sock day to day, I had the most fun while wearing these.
