A year isn’t so long, but you can get tons of fading in that time. Today’s Fade of the Day is one of those cases. Haikal Attamimi of Indonesia sent in these 13.5 oz Japanese Selvedge jeans made by BNV (a discontinued Indonesian brand) and even though they’ve only been worn for a year, they are showing plenty of electric blue fades and have even needed a crotch repair in that time.

Haikal wore this pair between 3 and 5 days a week for a year. Nothing specific garnered these fades, but when you live in Indonesia, the weather seems enough to produce nice fades. The whiskering and honeycombing are off to a great start and have already contrasted a great deal despite minimal indigo loss. Give this pair another year of wear and those fades will really pop.
