Crescent Down Works Makes the Warmest Pendleton Shirt Out There

Two things a winter wardrobe has to have? Some nicely-filled down, and some thick wool that’s real damn itchy, but so damn warm. And the Crescent Down Works x Division Road Down Shirt Jacket ticks both of those boxes.

Truly formulated for cold weather, just looking at this thing makes me feel like I could tackle trees with a chainsaw all winter long. Made in Seattle, U.S.A., the outer of this shirt-jacket is constructed from deadstock, 14oz. 100% wool flannel — supplied by Pendleton — and it’s rendered in a subdued, brown watch plaid, which is perfect for those more tonal winter get-ups. And for total insulation, it’s lined with squared nylon quilting, which is filled with 5.5oz. of ethically-harvested White Goose down feathers.

A truly heritage-inspired piece, Crescent Down Works have been sure that this Division Road exclusive features vintage hallmarks like a curved hem, brass snap-button closures with leather backings, a good sized collar, and a locker loop on the neckline. The only contemporary update is a slightly slimmer fit to allow for easy styling.

Available exclusively at Division Road for $585.
