Filson Goes Convertible With Their Duffle Backpack

As pioneers of rough-and-rugged wear, you can always count on Filson’s bags to tick all the functional boxes while maintaining a heritage charm, and they’ve done it again with this Duffle Backpack.

Filson usually constructs their bags with ultra-heavy materials like thick cotton twill, but for this all-purpose design, they’ve opted for a lightweight-but-durable Denier ballistic nylon, which is completely tear-resistant. It comes in two color ways — Whiskey and Otter Green — both of which are finished with contrasting Bridle leather on the duffle handle and zip pulls.

This bag can be transported in three ways: using the detachable shoulder strap, the leather duffle handle, or the padded backpack straps, which pack away into their own stealthy pocket when not in use. It’s also home to a plethora of pockets, including a padded laptop compartment, exterior organizer pocket, and two side-pockets with extendable mud-proof lining for when things get dirty.

Available at Context, priced at $245.
