Brave Star Denim is a brand that we don’t see a lot of, but when they do show up, it makes us want to see more! Today’s Fade of the Day is a pair of 18.5 oz. Slim Taper’s, worn by Wilson Cheng, of Stevenson Ranch, California, for just five months. But even with less than half-a-year in action, he’s still earned fades well-worth appreciating.
You might be wondering how Wilson managed so much indigo loss in just five months. The answer is, he wore them every single day during that time period, putting them through the ringer to make them his own! Heavy fades are seen throughout the thighs and seat, showing some defined wallet and what looks to be cell phone marks in the rear pockets.
This Kuroki Mills denim has some wonderful characteristics that show through with wear, including some streaking and that rich, deep indigo blue that we all love. The heavier denim has also developed some nice honeycombs that, like a fine wine, will just get better with age.
