Fade Friday – Samurai Jeans S003JP 15th Anniversary (1 Year, 1 Wash, 1 Soak)

It’s time for Fade Friday, and this time we’ve got one beat-to-heck pair of Samurai Jeans S003JPs to show you, submitted to us by Witsarut Pum-In of Thailand. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s been blowing us away with his fade submissions as of late (see his The Flat Head jacket for more proof) and shows no sign of slowing down his indigo-infused lifestyle any time soon.

Witsarut is a man of few words, and tends to let the fades speak for themselves. All we know about these jeans is that he’s worn them daily for the last year and only given them one wash and one soak thus far. In doing so, he has retained a ton of indigo in the less-exposed areas, making his fades super contrasty and rich in tone. Textbook thigh fades are matched perfectly with tightly formed honeycombs, back pocket puckering, and concealed rivets that are wearing through. Though the cuffs show signs of needing a repair job soon, these Samurais look to be in pretty good shape and we wouldn’t be surprised if Witsarut kept them going strong for years to come yet.

You can find out by giving him a follow in Instagram.
