Fade Friday – Elhaus Warbonnet (13 Months, 3 Washes, 1 Soak)

You’re probably getting used to our constant blabbing about how Indonesia seems to have become the insane fade capitol of the world, but the proof still continues to show up in our inbox every day. This week’s Fade Friday was submitted by Eka Truna of Bandung, Indonesia, who’s worn these beat-to-heck pair of Elhaus Warbonnets for the last year of daily activities resulting in some gnarly indigo loss.

Eka tells us that being his daily beaters, these jeans go with him everywhere. He’s constantly roaming around his city and playing gigs with his band, contributing to how they look today. While there’s still plenty of room to keep the fades going, the spots that see the most wear have really lightened up over time—especially the seat, knees, and thighs. We are also seeing some really sharp, distinct fade lines in the whisker region and behind the knees, both of which keep these Warbonnets interesting to view throughout. So far, the only real damage is one blown out rivet in the right pocket, but Eka doesn’t mind as it adds to his own denim wear story.
