Nudie Jeans Store and Repair Studio Launch – Mitte, Berlin, Germany

Along with the debut of their Sonny Organic Dry Clean Selvedge Jacket in January, Swedish denim power house, Nudie Jeans, launched their latest brick and mortar storefront and ninth denim repair studio in the heart of Berlin, Germany. The 1,529 sq. ft. (142 sq. m) space was designed by the brand’s in-house architect, Ida Toll, in partnership with Bread & Butter trade show founder, and owner of 14 Oz., Karl-Heinz Müller.

Situated specifically in Berlin’s most bustling and central borough, Mitte, the two parties thoughtfully transformed a 19th century building into a dual shop and stylish repair studio. Boasting vintage furniture and details, including a set of 1970s leather lounge chairs, Nudie‘s newest fixture notably hangs their entire range of jeans on clothing racks suspended by thick brown leather straps. In order to optimally showcase each season, the store’s layout and configuration will alter on an as-needed basis.

Above all, however, the interior is meant to boast an industrial-inspired feel with raw, rustic finishes throughout. In accordance to Nudie’s eco-cycle philosophy of repair, reuse, and recycle, all in-house repairs and alterations are free-of-charge for all customers. Located at: Münzstraße 21 in Berlin, Germany.
