It’s not often that one comes across someone as passionate in their work as Roy Slaper – sole founder, designer, and manufacturer of ROY Jeans. A jack-of-many trades kind of guy (one being metal fabrication, according to his site), Slaper was driven about 3-4 years ago to put together his very own pair of denim jeans in his own studio apartment. Driven by what you ask? Not money, just an extreme interest in and passion for machinery and denim, which is easily reflected in his work.
