Industry standard-bearer, Self Edge, brings us a collaboration with 3sixteen and Good Art that could rightfully be called the holy grail of hooded sweatshirts. The details of this insanely luxurious garment are something to behold: super heavy weight 14.75oz. custom woven fleece, hidden zippers for hand pockets, and an inner phone pocket kick things off, and that’s before we even get to the technical aspects of the hoodie!
The hood’s laces are made of reflective paracord to keep you visible at night, while a waterproof lining in the hood and a thermal lining in the body and arms keep you entirely insulated from the elements. But the icing on the cake comes from the Good Art end of the collaboration, which come in the form of sterling silver lace locks. They’re optional, but how could you turn down something like that down?
The so-called “Final Hoodie” is available from Self Edge for $285, a price that seems strangely reasonable given the attention to detail and certain indestructibility of this beast of a layering piece.
